Charity Cycling Club Mission Statement:
Our key strategic deliverable is to practise and broaden the sport of cycling whilst raising funds for various charities.
By engaging committed participants to the sport of cycling we will strive to bring further benefits to the Club, through fun, enthusiasm, dedication and commitment, and promoting a healthier lifestyle to all our members through our chosen sport.
We will use various fundraising events and culminate in an annual Cycle Tour as the primary marketing vehicle for the Club. We’ll give sponsors much needed brand exposure through Television, Radio, the printed media and the Internet, and in return their financial support will enable us to donate to all our nominated Charity Organizations.
We will achieve all of this through our Non-Profit Accreditation and by exuding a culture of transparency, absolute integrity and trust. The Club’s responsibility will include ensuring all deliverables from any sponsor engagement are met, and that all participants always maintain a respectable demeanour as ambassadors to the relevant events, wearing the sponsors brand with pride throughout.
We will always maintain our ideals with professionalism and respect for our sponsors, members and our charities and will strive to maintain an environment conducive to good sportsmanship, striving to lead by example and always setting a credible benchmark for others to follow.
